Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping every sphere of human life, including education and religious practice. Theological education, with its deep concern for truth, wisdom, and formation, faces both significant opportunities and serious challenges in this transition. This paper explores how AI is transforming theological education in the digital age, examines key ethical and theological questions raised by these changes, and proposes principles and practices for charting an AI- future that is accessible, just, and faithful to the core commitments of Christian theology (or other religious traditions, as appropriate).
